Dali Museum, St Petersburg (Day 13 - 2/5/19)

We spent the better part of our day at the Dali Museum in St Petersburg. To say I was blown away is an understatement. The guy was amazing! When in the area definitely put it on your list of must see locations.

We are finding it much more difficult to boon-dock or find available camping than we had expected. As part of purchasing the Campervan we were provided a year membership to Thousand Trails which is a network of campgrounds around the country. So I decided to activate our membership to see if that would be helpful in finding places to stay. As it turns out there are only 3 locations in Florida unless you add the trails collection which may not be a bad idea since the cost is equivalent to about 3 nights and there are around 200 locations around the country.

After the Dali Museum visit we found a Publix to get food and parked in a shady spot on the street. While parked we did some searching and managed to find two nights Mayakka River State Park. Thanks to whoever cancelled their reservation. The place looks amazing from a wildlife perspective.
