Myakka River - Site 14 (Day 32: Feb 28, 2023)

Today is my 64th birthday, next year it is Medicare time!

We celebrated with lunch at Don Jose Mexican Restaurant in Sebring Florida.

Then drove on to Myakka River after buying a couple of shirts at Bealls.

One of our favorite things at Myakka river is the birdwalk, well it was destroyed by Hurricane Ian. :(

 Spent the morning working and then headed over to Innisbrook to meet group at the pool. We hung out with Deborah until the golfers came by.  Pool was great and lunch at the pool was really good.

Left around 5 for the Hockey game which turned out to be a nail biter in the end. A 6-5 victory for the Sabres in overtime, a short handed goal!

Tarpon Springs - Bill & Janes (Day 26: Feb 22, 2023)

We spent time getting the van cleaned up and organized, starlink stowed. Headed over to the showers and cleaned up before heading the road. Arrived at Bill and Jane's around 4:20 said hi and then headed over to the Osprey Bar. Ran into Joan and Skip, and Matt and Deborah in the parking lot. We walked to the back deck to continue the surprise for Tom. 

The dinner at Rusty Bellies was amazing. Really great place.

 

Hillsborough River - Site 90 (Day 25: Feb 21, 2023)

We started our day packing up since we needed to move campsites from 104 to 90. Check in is around 3 so we moved to a place where I could take a couple of meetings and then we did the Seminal trail which is around 5.5 miles along the Hillsborough river. Very nice hike. Then we practiced our Cribbage and move on to our site and had dinner of tourmaline and meatballs.

 

Hillsborough River - 104 (Day 24: Feb 20, 2023)

We had a relaxing day of doing chores including laundry of sheets, towels and clothes. I installed a new hook in the bed area to hang backpacks. We slowly get better at being organized.
