Drive Home - (Day 75: April 12, 2023)

 Woke up in the parking lot of Beaver Motors. Defrosted the fridge so that we didn't get a small flood during the work being done on the van. Here is the list that was done expertly today:

> New tires, warranty battery replaced, inverter replaced, quick disconnect gas freed up, no cracks on battery mount found, brake fluid replaced, found and fixed coolant leak from rusted hose clamp near UHG, white wire removed from Balmer harness, tested AGM battery and replaced engine air and cabin air filters.

Beaver Motors - Parking Log - (Day 74: April 11, 2023)

 

Left Tom and Vicki's just before 8 and then promptly went the wrong way on 85 that cost us 10 minutes :(

Irene drove for over an hour to give me a break, it was almost 10 hours of driving. Had dinner at a divey place in Mifflintown PA called the Gridiron Pub. Food was great and they had a very nice IPA.

Anderson SC - Tom & Vicki's - (Day 73: April 10, 2023)

Not many pictures today, actually this is the only one I took :) Installed these baskets under the cabinets to provide more storage. Thanks to Doug and Michelle for the idea.

We went to Brews at the Square in Pendleton SC and then had dinner at Tifudi in Anderson.

 

Anderson SC - Tom & Vicki's - (Day 72: April 9, 2023)

 Drove the day from Crooked River to Tom and Vicki's.

Watched episode 4 of Ted Lasso.

Crooked River - Site 47 - (Day 71: April 8, 2023)

Drove into St Mary's and wandered around the town. Went to the submarine museum.

Had early dinner/late lunch at Southern River Walk in St Mary's. Played Cribbage.

 

Crooked River - Site 47 - (Day 70: April 7, 2023)

Spent the day on Jekyll Island. Took two tours. One around the historic district on a tram led by Mason. The other turned out to be a personal tour with Arther where we toured a home that was built with an internal truss modeled after a bridge. This allowed for very large rooms without load bearing walls.

Crooked River - Site 47 - (Day 69: April 6, 2023)

After two months in Florida we are now heading home, first stop Crooked River SP near St Mary's GA.

Anastasia - Site 88 - (Day 68: April 5, 2023)

Went to the beach today at Anastasia, set up our shelter and after getting lunch at the taco truck spent the afternoon on the beach.

A nice walk on the beautiful beach at Anastasia State Park.

Cribbage while in a bug net :)

Last night the pump was not pumping water and I decided to take it apart this morning to see what was going on and removed all of this plastic from the guts of the thing. It worked after putting it back together and reinstalling.

We spent time at the Alligator Farm in St Augustine which was really great. Lots of birds and of course Alligators.
