Unfortunately the weather did not allow for a launch Sunday morning. So we packed up and left. Found a dinner in Glens Falls and had breakfast with Michele and Doug before we departed for home. We stopped in Saratoga Springs and wandered around for a bit. Then moved on stopping on the thruway rest area just the other side of Syracuse to watch the first part of the Japanese Grand Prix. We watched the remaining half when we got home around 6:30.
Saturday morning I got up at 5:30 to see the launch, It turned out to be truly magical as the wind was out of the North so they flew right over us! We also caught up with Adi and said hello!
Doug and Michele showed up promptly at 9am at our home and we were off for the Ballon Fest. We stopped in Ballston Spa for lunch and then continued to the RV area, arriving around 2:30. We relaxed for a bit then took the shuttle bus to the festival down on the air field. It was a wonderful evening of walking among the ballon's and seeing them launch.
