Florida Meetup Trip 2024 - (Day 6 - Jan 30, 2024)

 The weather was nice, a little chilly, but good enough for shorts during the day. Irene and I went on a 3.1 mile hike with Doug and Michelle. Later in the day there was a progressive snacks event where we visited 8 vans with different groups of people. It was real nice.

Florida Meetup Trip 2024 - (Day 4 - Jan 28, 2024)

 Left around noon for Kirby's. On the way we decided to just stop in and have dinner and get some more miles in before stopping so that the last day would be a little lighter. On the way to Griffin we got the van washed, some how managed to break the blinker light on the passenger side mirror and get the LP filled. 

Florida Meetup Trip 2024 - (Day 3 - Jan 27, 2024)

 We spent the day at Tom and Vicki's. We went shopping for what was needed for mushroom risotto which we made to pair with Vicki's chicken thighs. We watch Oppenheimer which was powerful. We need to see it again there was a lot going on in that movie. No photos today except for the ingredients of the risotto :)

Florida Meetup Trip 2024 - (Day 2 - Jan 26, 2024)

 Got on the road at a reasonable time for our push to Anderson SC to catch up with Tom and Vicki. Since the day was looking weather wise to be wonderful (75 degrees and sunny) we met them in Greenville for a walk around the beautiful town and have dinner. We toasted mom for what would have been her 90th birthday.

I am so thrilled that Irene has become very comfortable driving the van.

The Hotel Bohemian is a beautiful addition to the city of Greenville.

Florida Meetup Trip 2024 - (Day 1 - Jan 25, 2024)

 Van is packed and looking neat and tidy. We are off in a bit, first stop maybe Wytheville, VA they have a cracker barrel. Well that was the plan we made it about 1.5 hours short and stayed at a Cracker Barrel in Beckley WV.
