Florida 2026 - Day 81 VB Home (4/6/26)

We had breakfast at Cracker Barrel and then headed over to Ready Set Van for our battery replacement. That went well and quickly we were on the road to Jane's around 1pm. Visited with Jane at her home in the Poconos and saw Sue as well as they are neighbors. We arrived home around 10pm.

Florida 2026 - Day 80 VB Trenton Cracker Barrel (4/5/26)

After leaving Jane's we drove up along the shore on our way to Trenton. Some shots along the way. We had dinner at Outback (it has been a while) and then went to the movies and saw Project Hail Mary which we move enjoyed very much.

 

Florida 2026 - Day 79 VB Jane's in Sea Isle City (4/4/26)

We met Sammy for coffee in the morning and then drove north to Lewes to catch the ferry to Cape May. We stopped at Cape Charles for a bit after taking the bridge tunnel across the Chesapeake Bay. Stopped by Jeff and Rose's new home build in Cape May then spent the night in Jane's Sea Isle driveway.

 

Florida 2026 - Day 78 VB Cracker Barrel (4/3/26)

After spending a quiet evening in the parking lot of the Big Ugly Joe got the most wonderful donuts from the food truck. We saw a super high promaster and then headed into VB since Sammy wasn't free until after noon. Once we caught up with her we had lunch then went to a park to help her with her taxes. 

 

Florida 2026 - Day 77 Big Ugly Brewing (4/2/26)

As we drove up through NC we found this town that had a whirlygig park that was not too far from 95 so we stopped in. It was very cool! We then made it to Big Ugly brewing in VB and met up with Joe and Shellie, we had a great evening catching up.

 

Florida 2026 - Day 76 North South Brewing (4/1/26)

We started our push north today leaving cooked river a little after 10 and spent the day making our way to Fayetteville NC to stay at North South brewing. They had a taco truck and we both had a great rice bowl. On the way we stopped to get a wash at Blue Beacon.

 

Florida 2026 - Day 75 Crooked River site 18 (3/31/26)

We spent most of the day in St Mary's. Met a couple who live in Chili and had lunch with them at Southern River Walk.
