Last Day - Rochester, NY (Day 37 - 2/23/20)

A long day of driving from Raleigh to Rochester. Took a little over 12 hours arriving home around 8:30. Great day for a drive, clear light traffic except around DC. Stopped for a short break just west of Harrisburg at Fort Hunter Memorial park. Had a great conversation with a guy interested in the Hymer.

We thought we saw Sparky the Firetruck @sparky_the_firetruck on Instagram. We had met them in Florida last year in their 1985 imported Mercedes Volunteer Firetruck. But turns out there are a few of them in the country and it was not them after all, they are currently in California.

My Sister Kathy - Raleigh NC (Day 36 - 2/22/20)

We had a very windy night at Huguenot City park, the van was getting bounced around all evening. It was amazing that it never stopped. I was wondering how it could continue so long. We took a final walk on the beach, showered, dumped tanks, winterized and then hit the road for Raleigh.

The wind was so wild that we wanted to see what it looked like on the beach, pretty amazing.

Got to Raleigh around 7:30 in the evening, got settled and then went out to eat with Kathy. She took us to a place new to her, the Transfer Co. Food hall. Had a great spicy burger from Mama Crow's and some tasty IPAs from the Burial Beer Co.

Fort George Inlet - Jacksonville Florida (Day 33 - 2/19/20)

Left Huguenot Memorial park around noon and headed south into Jacksonville. When to Publix and then took a work call in a park nearby. Onto laundry after that. Spent the night in a small parking lot on the Fort George Inlet.
