Florida 2026 - Day 75 Crooked River site 18 (3/31/26)

We spent most of the day in St Mary's. Met a couple who live in Chili and had lunch with them at Southern River Walk.

Drove across the panhandle of Florida from Three River to Crooked River SP near St Mary's GA. Arrived a bit before sunset. Bugs were bad so I set up the screen room.

Florida 2026 - Day 73 Three Rivers site 7 (3/29/26)

We had a quiet day and explored a local wildlife refuge. Didn't see anything interesting to photograph. We planned our route home and will be departing Florida in the morning after 2.5 months.

We went to the no kings rally in Bainbridge GA. A nice little town where we had lunch. Met some very nice folks at the rally.

 

Florida 2026 - Day 71 Three Rivers site 7 (3/27/26)

Bugs bad so screen room up. So today was not super fun. I got bit up in the morning and ended up with a systemic reaction that scared me. So we went to the local Hospital, Jackson Hospital ER. I got a steroid shot and and some meds to take for 5 days. All is well now.

We knew that Doug and Michelle were going to be at falling river but we did not expect our artist friend Connie and her husband.
