Morro Bay Meetup Trip - Furnace Creek site 62 (Day 22 - Oct 29, 2023)
Woke up to the beauty of Buttermilk Boulders.
We took a short walk while Erin and Irene caught up on the phone.
Spent time in the afternoon at Manzanar which during WWII of Japanese American citizens. It was a powerful visit on the huge mistake made by FDR.
Leaving Manazanar we drove to Death Valley and got a site at the Furnace Creek Campground.
It was a very nice evening, temps were wonderful. We cooked steaks for dinner. Watched the Mexican GP.Saturday, October 28, 2023
Morro Bay Meetup Trip - Buttermilk BLM (Day 21 - Oct 28, 2023)
We started the day with a chilly but beautiful hike around Convict lake. 
Spent time in the afternoon at the Law railroad museum that had lots of buildings and examples of life in the past in Law CA.
Stayed the night at our favorite spot near Bishop CA, Buttermilk Boulders. It was cold, got down to 28 degrees.

Morro Bay Meetup Trip - Convict Lake site 75 (Day 20 - Oct 27, 2023)
This morning when we arrived at my 'office' the nearly full moon was lighting the valley. iPhone is amazing.
Smoke in the valley from managed fires.
Sunrise from the tunnel view parking lot. Lots of people show up.
Yesterday an engagement and today we saw a wedding party show up for photos.
