Woke up to the beauty of Buttermilk Boulders.

We took a short walk while Erin and Irene caught up on the phone.

Spent time in the afternoon at Manzanar which during WWII of Japanese American citizens. It was a powerful visit on the huge mistake made by FDR.

Leaving Manazanar we drove to Death Valley and got a site at the Furnace Creek Campground.

It was a very nice evening, temps were wonderful. We cooked steaks for dinner. Watched the Mexican GP.
