Brought out the solo stove tonight to have a fire with our neighbors, Marc and Rosemary. A little chilly tonight, a break in the 85+ weather we have been having.
Our site is not bad here a short walk to the bathroom with the laundry.
I can see my left ankle bone again!
So just after 8:30 we were talking with Marc and Rosemary around the fire and out of the corner of my eye I see an orange streak in the sky. I alert the others we jump up to watch as it goes a little further and then appears to explode. At first we were very concerned it was a plane but as it turned out we were seeing our first space craft launch! Very exciting, I wish we had paid attention and had found a better place to see it go by.
