Woke up at the Little Manatee River state park and packed up. We did a hike on the other side of the river from the camp ground. Then drove on to Highlands Hammock to meet up with Laura and Roland.
Just before we got to Highlands Hammock we encountered large group of people on horse back which slowed us down for a few minutes as we slowly moved past them.
Arrived a little after noon at Highland Hammocks SP and found Laura and Roland in the campsite and had a little lunch. Checked in and got our bikes off the van. We rode around the loop with Laura and Roland and did the Cypress Swamp trail (sadly no alligator today) also hiked the orange grove trail and saw no oranges!
